AIRPORTS
The DC Metro area offers several airports for your flying pleasure:
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, DC
- Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Chantilly, VA
- Baltimore International Airport (BWI) in Baltimore, MD
We recommend flying into Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), which is about 10 minutes outside DC (by car) and Metro-accessible (a metro station is on-site). It is worth paying an extra $100 to fly through DCA, because the other two airports are about an hour a way from the city.
If flying through BWI, you can catch a $6 train ride on the MARC train direct from the airport to Union Station in DC.
If at all possible, avoid Dulles. It’s not Metro accessible, and a cab ride will cost at least $65 each way.

We are looking into hotel room blocks/discounts. In the meantime, the hotels that are most conveniently located are . . .

METRO
You can get nearly anywhere in DC on the Metro. The closest Metro stop to the wedding ceremony/reception is Columbia Heights on the Green Line – a mere five-block walk to the festivities.
TAXI
Cabs abound in DC, and the fares are relatively cheap. If you want to call ahead for a taxi, try DC Yellow Cab Co.
EVENT PARKING
If you are driving to the wedding, feel free to park at the Josephine Butler Parks Center. There is a parking lot behind the building.
Metered parking is also available throughout the area.
Beware of “free” street parking: Most zoned parking areas only allow you to leave your car in one spot for two hours. Please read the posted signs carefully.
