You found the website. High five! Now that you’re here, want to find out what we’ve been up to lately, aside from planning a lifetime of endless love? . . . . . . . .
This is our life.
We’ve both been living and working in DC for four years. Our free time is spent with friends. When we’re not playing with friends, we can be found en route to see friends, or talking to friends on the phone. Or at church (we go to Frontline DC and try to make a point “getting our Jesus on” every day). Or hiking. Or at the local farmer’s market. Or retreating to the sofa for a ridiculously long stretch of Lost, 24, or Battlestar Galactica. That’s right.
We also enjoy long-winded poems and long walks on the beach. (That’s a joke). But really, we do love each other deeply and are fully content in our own company. And somehow, we manage to make each other laugh . . . a lot. This is a miracle given that neither of us are very funny.
A lot of our time is spent at work! We both started out in nonprofit communications jobs, and have since moved on to the agency world. Specifically, we both specialize in social media marketing. Blogs, social networks, etc….that’s our bread and butter. Currently, Qui’s over at Livingston Communications in Old Town Alexandria, and Ryan’s work home is the famed Viget Labs in Falls Church. Reverse-commuting out of DC against traffic is excellent, thank you.
We love what we do, and are closely connected with DC’s vibrant digital/tech/social media network, as well as the local nonprofit/social cause space. We’ve been blessed by countless friendships from this layer of life – our fellow geeks and do-gooders are a huge part of our community, and challenge us daily to be better people.
